Kremer, 30, is tossing a 6.50 ERA through seven starts this season. He's coming off the worst start of the season, giving up eight runs on eight hits through four innings against the Detroit Tigers on July 28th.
The seven-year vet has spent his entire professional career with the Orioles. Between 2022 and 2025, Kremer had been a steady back-of-the-rotation option for the Birds throughout his career.
He finished the past three seasons with an ERA between 4.10 and 4.20, with 142 strikeouts through 171.2 innings last season.
Kremer had missed two months this season after dealing with a right quad strain, but looks to be a possible rotational piece for a Twins team that is currently 55-55 on the season as they continue to fight for the division crown.
The deal comes a day after the Twins traded for New York Mets relief pitcher AJ Minter.
As for Reyes, the 18-year-old Dominican native is slashing .275/.394/.494 through Rookie Ball and Single-A with seven home runs, 46 RBI, and 17 stolen bases. It's worth noting that Reyes is hitting a brutal .105 average (2-19) in Single-A.
