The veteran received a curtain call from the Mets faithful following the home run after spending the first seven years of his current eight-year career with the team.
Alonso now brings his 2026 season home run total to 36, along with 101 RBI, earning every cent of that five-year, $155 million contract he signed with the Orioles.
Baltimore currently sit with a 74-78 record after beating the Mets later on, as they now sit 2.5 games back of the Cleveland Guardians for that third and final Wild Card spot.
