"I am incredibly happy to be back in Danish football – and to be part of what HB Koge Women has built. The club has great ambitions, and I look forward to contributing with everything I can", Nadim says in a press release.
"I come with determination and an enormous dedication, which I will use to help the club maintain its position at the top – both in Denmark and internationally", says Nadia Nadim, who last played in the Danish league in the 2015/16 season, where she was on loan to Fortuna Hjorring.
For the past six months, Nadim has been on loan to Swedish club Hammarby, where she primarily played as a substitute in seven matches and scored two goals, before returning to AC Milan where she criticized Italian club’s Dutch manager, Suzanne Bakker.
“It was a shock to be introduced to her,” said the Afghanistan-born Denmark international, with the two clearly disagreeing on how things should be done. “I can honestly say that the training sessions at the refugee camps were better.”
Nadia Nadim has also had a great career with the Danish national team. Here, she scored 38 goals in 108 matches and was part of the team that won silver at the European Championship in 2017. Nadim retired from the national team after this summer's European Championship finals.
