After a thrilling 12 days in Miami, the tournament comes to a grandstand close as the greatest to play the game takes on the latest pretender to his throne in Jakub Mensik.

04:50 - CET - Jakub Mensik upsets Novak Djokovic in straight sets 7-6(4), 7-6(4) to win his first ever Masters 1000 title! The 19-year-old's thrilling first ever ATP tour title can only be described by him as, "To be honest I don't know what to say. It's one of the best days of my life."

Mensik's pure strength and youth proved to be too much for the veteran 37-year-old after the two went in a constant back and forth the entire second set.

Mensik was later embraced by his family following the emotional victory. 

03:45 CET - Mensik takes the first set from Djokovic 7-6(4) after starting off with a 3-0 lead! This is the first set of the tournament that Djokovic lost.

20:02 CET - The latest update to bring you is that play won't resume until 22:30 CET, but the women's doubles final might get back underway then. 

Before the rain delay, the formidable pairing Mirra Andreeva and Diana Shnaider were leading 3-0 in the first set. The men's final will follow that final so you can expect it to be a while yet until that gets underway.

21:15 CET - Some developing news to bring you from Miami, as the weather has turned for the worst once again, bringing a delay to the final. Supporters have been encouraged to seek shelter due to lightning strikes in the area, and the forecast predicts heavy rain for a while longer!
