02:25 CET - Carlos Alcaraz defeats Alexander Zverev in straight sets 6-4, 6-3. Since 1973, only Roger Federer has reached 25 top-five wins in fewer matches (36) than Alcaraz (37), putting the latter among tennis royalty.
Alcaraz signed the camera after the match dedicated to Zverev, who has been struggling with his health during the tournament, saying, "Happy for the final but feeling bad for Sascha. Wish you all the best."
01:30 CET - Carlos Alcaraz takes the first set from Alexander Zverev 6-4. The Spaniard had a whopping nine aces to Zverev's two in the first set.
23:51 CET - Next up is a real heavyweight clash, with world number two Carlos Alcaraz going up against world number three Alexander Zverev in the 12th meeting between the pair.
The German has won six of their first five and three of their last four on a hard court, so this is going to be a real test for Alcaraz.
22:47 CET - Jannik Sinner is into the Cincinnati Open final! The defending champion has moved to within one win of retaining his title with a 7-6, 6-2 win over Terence Atmane.
The Frenchman has had an incredible week in Ohio, but Sinner was just too strong for him in the second set tonight.
22:05 CET - Sinner has won the first set, but only after battling away for 47 minutes. Atmane held his serve all the way through to take the world number one to a tiebreak, which he won 7-4.
This is very much a contest.
20:55 CET - The first clash of the night will begin in 15 minutes, when Jannik Sinner looks to win his 12th match and 29th hard-court match in a row.
Given those numbers, anyone beating him would be a surprise, but Terence Atmane doing so would be a particularly big shock. The Frenchman had won only one tour-level match before this tournament, but has been a sensation in Cincinnati.
