At Trabzonspor, Franculino is set to become teammates with, among others, Aral Simsir, Mohamed Salah, and Fabinho. The club also has former Midtjylland striker Paul Onuachu on its roster.
No fee has been mentioned, but according to Flashscore sources, the Wolves were asking in the region of €25–30 million for the 22-year-old striker.
Franculino was initially selected for Wednesday's match against AGF but was subsequently left out of the squad.
CEO Claus Steinlein confirmed that the club was in the process of selling their key striker, and the two clubs have now finalized the deal.
Franculino made 117 appearances for the Superliga club, recording 58 goals and 17 assists.
