The Danish Superliga-match between Randers and AGF was never in any danger of being called off even though the heavy fog from an outside look made it almost impossible to see what went on during the match.

The heavy fog reduced visibility for both the spectators in the stadium and TV viewers significantly , but the match was never close to being called off as conditions were nowhere near as bad on the pitch as outside according to the match's referee, Jens Maae,

Therefore, he didn't see any reason for the match to be interrupted.

"It looks worse on the TV images and on the VAR images, but it was at no time – not even in the second half – a problem for either me or the players to be on the pitch and finish the match. That's why we continued the game", says Jens Maae to TV 2 Sport and added that he was continuously talking to the players about the situation.

The match ended 1-1 after Patrick Mortensen gave the visitors an early lead before Mathias Greve restored parity later in the first half.
