FC Nordsjaelland have signed a loan deal for the former leading goalscorer in the Danish Superliga, Alexander Lind, who arrives from Pisa. The deal is valid for the rest of the season, with a possibility of making the transfer permanent.

FCN football director Alexander Riget is happy to have found reinforcements for the attack after the sale of several profiles.

"We have been looking for a striker for a while who is good at getting into the box and who can score goals, so we are happy that we have now succeeded in making an agreement with Alexander Lind."

"We were actually a bit surprised that the opportunity arose after his fine first season in Pisa, but when it did, we pounced on it."

"And we are also happy that a purchase option has been written into the loan deal", says Alexander Riget to the club's website.

Alexander Lind had a desire to return to Denmark again after previously playing for Silkeborg.

"FC Nordsjaelland plays some mega-cool football along the ground, and when you look at how previous 9s have performed at the club, I just hope that I can contribute in the same way."

"The fans can expect a striker who brings a bit more energy than from my first time in the Danish Superliga."
