A Brondby team packed with lots of new signings delivered anything but a convincing effort in Sunday's spring premiere in the Danish Superliga.
Brondby were left to settle for a goalless draw against Randers, and it was even the Jutland visitors who came closest to claiming the three points.
As many as four debutants were to be found in Brondby's starting line-up, as Ben Godfrey, Bartosz Slisz, Mads Frøkjær, and Ousmane Sow, who were all purchased during the winter transfer window, were handed a chance to shine.

In addition, 17-year-old Viggo Poulsen was also given his first start for Brondby.
However, the many new faces looked like they needed to settle as the game was mostly disjointed and without attacking quality.
Instead, Randers had several good opportunities after the break, while Brondby only managed to put the visitors under an intense pressure towards the end of the match.
Thanks to the draw, Brondby has 32 points in third place in the Superliga. There are seven and eight points up to FC Midtjylland and AGF in second and first spot, respectively.
Randers are in ninth spot with 20 points.
