The reigning Danish champions will take on Superliga league leaders AGF on Sunday in a friendly with just a week to go before the restart of the Danish domestic league, where Jacob Neestrup's side are facing a very difficult trip to Herning to take on FC Midtjylland.
The striker missed the Champions League match against FC Barcelona, where head coach Neestrup did not know the extent of the injury.
"Whether he is back shortly or whether it will take longer, I do not want to comment on that right now. I will get an answer when we get home on Thursday", Neestrup said before the Barca game.
FC Copenhagen, at the same time, says that the rehabilitation of two of their most important players is going well.
"Magnus Mattsson's and Rodrigo Huesca's rehabilitation is going according to plan, and they are expected to be ready for the start of next season."
