With a busy December ahead for the Premier League, it's an intriguing time of year for those looking to pick up more points or defend their position in Fantasy Premier League.

Here are the best players for FPL Gameweek 14 and 15 using Fantasy Football Hub’s AI predicted points. If you’re struggling to decide on which FPL move to make, get your AI Recommended Transfers right now!

Best Midfielder: Bukayo Saka - 13.3 predicted points

A benching for Mohamed Salah last time out sees Bukayo Saka leapfrog him in the midfield rankings, with a home game against Brentford followed by a trip to Aston Villa. Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 10 Premier League games.

The schedule is congested with the mid-week round of fixtures, but Mikel Arteta rarely chooses to rest his star man, who has completed 90 minutes in four consecutive Premier League games. He is on penalties as well as sharing other set-piece responsibilities.

He’s produced a goal and an assist in this time, but his underlying numbers suggest this could have been much more, with four big chances on goal and three big chances created for his teammates in this time.

Midfield Gem: Phil Foden - 11.2 predicted points

More than one million managers backed Manchester City’s Erling Haaland with the captaincy last time out, but it was his teammate Phil Foden who stepped up with the big haul against Leeds United to make the Team of the Week.

Going into that fixture, he was a big differential, in less than 10% of sides, with just two goal involvements for the campaign. He popped up with a crucial brace and all three bonus points for a 15-point haul.

His underlying numbers going into that game suggested that further returns would be just around the corner, and he has now had 10 shots, three big chances and six key passes in the last four gameweeks alone. He’s also been taking corners in this period.

Best Forward: Erling Haaland - 16.9 predicted points

Erling Haaland remains the best captain option once again, according to AI, for both the midweek Gameweek 14 trip to Fulham and the home game against Sunderland in Gameweek 15, despite a small blip in his form.

Three goals in the last four gameweeks remain a strong level of return, despite being down from his early-season standards, which saw him rack up 15 goal involvements in the opening 13 gameweeks.

He’s had nine shots on target and seven key passes in the last four gameweeks, which suggests that further hauls aren’t far away. Pep Guardiola also lacks options to lead the line, with Haaland completing 90 minutes in seven of the last eight league games.

Forward Gem: Alexander Isak - 9.8 predicted points

A 2-0 win for Liverpool away at West Ham in Gameweek 13 was much needed for their confidence and significantly for their big summer signing, Alexander Isak, who scored his first league goal for his new club. He remains a differential, with only 5% of sides containing the Swedish striker.

Arne Slot does have options to lead the line, with Isak and Hugo Ekitike both fully fit, but it’s Isak who has started the last two in the league, playing 67 minutes on each occasion. Isak has had four shots on goal across the 136 minutes played.

Liverpool perhaps have the best fixtures of any side across this congested spell, facing promoted Sunderland at Anfield on Wednesday evening, before travelling to promoted Leeds United on Saturday. Six points will be a must to get back in contention in the table.
