Coach Postecoglou was vague at the pre-match press conference and gave a jocular response when asked about his starting goalkeeper for Wednesday's game.
"If Kinsky is going to be the keeper? We'll see. He only arrived on Sunday. But he is registered and can play."
However, a source confirmed to eFotball on Tuesday evening that Postecoglou is clear about Kinsky for the match and the goalkeeper will make his debut against Liverpool.
Liverpool are currently the leaders of the Premier League and unbeaten in the Champions League and League Cup.
Under Arne Slote, the Reds have turned into the team with the most stable form in Europe and Kinsky could hardly have a more challenging start.
But it is the big games that suit the Czech Republic international. He has nothing to lose against Liverpool.
"It would be great for Tonda to play against Liverpool, he can only gain and he will feel the support of the coach right from the start," said Petr Cech after Kinsky's transfer.
And if his debut at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium doesn't work out? There is no need to get down as, after all, Kinsky has been in a similar situation before.
"Look at the start he had in Pardubice, where he got a red card in the very first home game, and where he ended up," said former Pardubice goalkeeping coach Martin Shejbal in an interview for the Livesport Daily podcast.
Should Kinsky help Tottenham win the match, he could claim the number one spot in the side and bring the team closer to a first trophy since 2008 when they won the League Cup.
