Kelly, 32, made the decision after suffering three concussions during the 2025 season with the Minnesota Vikings. He missed nine games last year because of injuries, including two stints on the injured reserve.
Despite the injuries, Kelly still ranked top five across the board in all of his blocking grades: 82.2 overall (4th), 82.6 run blocking (5th), and 77.7 pass blocking (3rd).
The former 18th overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft spent the first nine years of his career with the Indianapolis Colts, earning Second-Team All-Pro honors in 2020 and four Pro Bowl selections (2019-2021, 2023).
