We are nearing the business end of the Miami Open, with two semi-final spots still up for grabs on the women's side of the tournament, while the men's quarter-finals get underway today.

07:34 CET - That'll be all from a great day of action in Miami. We will be back later this afternoon for the final men's quarter-finals and the women's semi-finals, including a Sabalenka vs Rybakina blockbuster!

04:35 CET - A thrilling encounter goes the way of Arthur Fils, who edged Tommy Paul 6-7 (3), 7-6 (4), 7-6 (6) in just under three hours of tennis. The Frenchman battled back from 6-2 down in the final tiebreak, claiming the final six points of the match to progress at the American's expense.

01:45 CET - The last match of the night is about to take place, with Tommy Paul and Arthur Fils facing off to determine the second semi-finalist on the men's side.

01:30 CET - Aryna Sabalenka is the last female in the semi-finals of the Miami Open thanks to her 6-4, 6-4 victory over Hailey Baptiste. Both sets lasted 40 minutes, with the number one seed breaking the American's serve in the final game as well. In the end, Sabalenka prevailed in what was a close match, and will face Elena Rybakina in the semi-finals.

00:50 CET - The first set goes Aryna Sabalenka's way as the world number one tops Hailey Baptiste 6-4 in 40 minutes. It took until the 10th and final service game of the set for the top seed to break her opponent's serve, and is now one set away from the semi-finals.

00:00 CET - Next up this evening is the final women's quarter-final in Miami as world number one Aryna Sabalenka takes on home player Hailey Baptiste.

Baptiste has yet to drop a set in Miami but will face a whole new level of test against Sabalenka and she will have to ply out of her skin to come out on top.

That match is just minutes away, with the winner facing Elenka Rybakina in the semi-finals.

22:55 CET - 21st seed and pre-match favourite Jiri Lehecka has got the job done in professional style against qualifier Martin Landaluce to book his first-ever Masters 1000 semi-final appearance.

Landaluce refused to make it easy, and the 20-year-old can hold his head up high after ending a breakthrough tournament with a hard-fought defeat. It wasn't to be today, but Landaluce proved over the last fortnight that he is one to watch for the future.

22:00 CET - As mentioned earlier, the story of this Miami tournament on the men's side is Martin Landaluce and the Spanish qualifier has looked far from out of place so far in his quarter-final clash against Jiri Lehecka.

The Czech favourite edged the first set in a dominant tiebreak performance, but Landaluce held his own on serve and won't be a pushover in a fascinating second set.

Follow the second set action here as Lehecka looks to book a semi-final spot.

20:27 CET - Elena Rybakina did a brilliant job to turn this quarter-final around after struggling in the first set. The third seed continued to up her level as the match went on, and as Jessica Pegula seemed to struggle mentally, Rybakina's confidence grew.

Rybakina's level was close to her best in the third set as she completed the comeback by taking the third set 6-4 and booking her place in the semi-finals. Rybakina continues to prove in 2026 that she has the mental strength to come out on top against the best players in the world, and it will take someone at the top of their game to beat her in Miami.

19:35 CET - After playing a poor first set by her lofty standards, Elena Rybakina has battled back against Jessica Pegula, and the match is heading to a decider!

Pegula cruised to win the opening set as Rybakina struggled with her timing from the back of the court, but Rybakina eventually found her touch, landing more first serves to put herself on the front foot and level proceedings.

A final set shootout will decide who is heading to the semi-finals!

17:55 CET - Right then, we are just a few minutes away from the players heading onto court in Miami, with Elena Rybakina and Jessica Pegula first up.

16:00 CET - Welcome back to our live tracker of the Miami Open, as the action continues to motor on, with four quarter-final matches to look forward to throughout the day.

There are two semi-final spots left to compete for on the women's side of the tournament, after Karolina Muchova and Coco Gauff set up a meeting yesterday with victories over Victoria Mboko and Belinda Bencic, respectively.

Play gets underway at 18:00 CET with what is surely the most exciting match of the day, as Australian Open champion Elena Rybakina and Jessica Pegula meet once again.

Since the end of last year, the pair have faced off four times, with Rybakina winning on every single occasion. She seems to have the number of the American, and will be gunning to reach the last four and potentially get revenge on Aryna Sabalenka after losing to her in the final of Indian Wells.

World number one Sabalenka will be the big favourite to reach the semi-finals, as she takes on American heavy-hitter Hailey Baptiste at around 00:00 CET.

Sabalenka is the defending champion in Miami, while Baptiste is in her first-ever WTA 1000 quarter-final and enjoying the best run of her career.

Over on the men's side, 20-year-old Spaniard Martin Lundaluce has been one of the stories of the tournament, going on an absolutely stunning run in Miami.

A qualifier who had never been past the second round of a Masters event before this week, he faces Jiri Lehecka at around 20:00 CET to reach the semi-finals.

The last match of the day then sees a very interesting clash between the resurgent, supremely talented Arthur Fils and home favourite Tommy Paul.

Since returning from a lengthy injury layoff earlier this year, Fils has quickly hit his groove and been a joy to watch. Both he and Paul have a huge opportunity on this side of the draw to reach a maiden Masters final.
