“Beatrice deserves a huge thank you for stepping in when we had three line players out. She came straight from her handball retirement and helped in any way she could from day one on the court, not least with her vast experience. It has always been the plan that she would be with us during these months and then return to France, which was the premise for her saying yes to helping,” says director Daniel Gronhoj.
Despite the short spell, Edwige looks back on her Danish handball adventure with pleasure.
“I would like to thank Ikast Handball, the supporters, the volunteers, and the players. I received a very warm welcome, and this experience gave me the opportunity to discover Denmark and the Danish league. I send a big thank you to all of you", says Edwige to the club website.
