10. Gabriel - Arsenal (-)

Arsenal are continuing their charge for a first Premier League title since 2004, sitting six points clear at the summit, while also completing a perfect Champions League campaign with eight wins from eight.
A two-legged victory over Chelsea also secured their spot in the Carabao Cup final, and they remain in the FA Cup. Barring a recent three-game blip - including their first home defeat of the season against Manchester United - could it be going much better for the Gunners?.
Their defence remains the best in Europe, which is what Arteta has built this team on, and Gabriel Magalhaes is the leader of a backline that has racked up a stellar 20 clean sheets in 38 matches across all competitions.
The aggressive Brazilian has cemented himself as arguably the world’s best centre back, and he will continue to be integral over the coming months.
9. Luiz Diaz - Bayern Munich (-)

Bayern Munich have tripped up of late in the Bundesliga, dropping five points in their last two games to allow Borussia Dortmund to move just six points behind them at the top.
However, it is expected that they will go on to win the title, and they will also be real contenders to win the Champions League after they finished second in the league phase, with their only loss coming to table-toppers Arsenal.
Luis Diaz remains a key figure in the Bayern team, with his attacking output, tenacity, and pressing vital to what Vincent Kompany wants to do.
Over the last month, he registered two goals and three assists in the Bundesliga, taking his assist tally to the season to nine - with someone else on this Power Ranking the only player ahead of him.
8. Raphinha - Barcelona (New entry)

Raphinha enters this Power Rankings for the first time this season, finally staying injury-free and hitting a rich vein of form for Barcelona, who are currently at the top of LaLiga and secured their passage into the last 16 of the Champions League.
The Brazilian has six goals and two assists in his last seven games in all competitions, and bagged a brace in the Spanish Super Cup final as Barca defeated arch-rivals Real Madrid to lift the trophy.
A firm favourite of Hansi Flick’s, he is reminding people how immense a footballer he is.
7. Vitinha - PSG (-)

The brilliant Vitinha remains PSG’s silky midfield superstar, and while they will almost certainly go on to win the league, they will be disappointed by their performances in the Champions League.
A defeat at Sporting as well as a home draw to Newcastle - in which Vitinha scored - meant that PSG will have to take part in a playoff tie to secure their route into the last 16, which is what they had to do last season.
They were also eliminated from the Coupe de France after a home loss to Paris FC, which shows that things haven’t been easy for them.
6. Declan Rice - Arsenal (Down 1)

Arguably Arsenal’s most important player, Rice remains the favourite to win the Premier League Player of the Year award, as long as he can help the Gunners get over the line and win the title.
An all-action, complete midfielder, Rice’s role seems to have changed in the last few weeks, with him playing in a deeper role to guard the defence and offer more solidity in midfield, meaning he hasn’t offered as much offensively. His deliveries from corners remain as good as anyone in the world, though.
He was awarded Man of the Match in Arsenal’s second leg victory over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup semi-final, in which he played in a more defensive midfield role and helped keep a clean sheet in a 1-0 win, displaying his versatility for his team.
5. Erling Haaland - Manchester City (Down 3)

From being second in the Power Rankings for most of the season, Erling Haaland has dropped three places as he and Manchester City go through a tough run of form.
City have just one win in their last six Premier League games, falling six points behind Arsenal as a result. In the last month, they also suffered terrible back-to-back defeats to Manchester United and Bodo/Glimt, but did secure their spot in the Carabao Cup final with a win over Newcastle, as well as booking a last-16 spot in the Champions League… just.
Incredibly, Haaland has just two goals in his last 12 games in all competitions, with his last Premier League goal coming on January 7th from the penalty spot. His last goal from open play in the league came on December 20th.
City have a huge trip to Anfield this weekend, and a bad result could see the title almost out of sight for them. Haaland has to step up during a crucial period of the season.
4. Michael Olise - Bayern Munich (Up 2)

It has been an extraordinary few weeks for Olise, which also saw him named the Flashscore Player of the Month!
The Frenchman has produced a stunning eight assists in his last seven games for Bayern in all competitions, including three in a single match against Leipzig. In the Bundesliga, he already has 15 assists, meaning he is just six away from matching Thomas Muller’s all-time record of 21.
There is a real argument to be made that he is now Bayern's most important player.
3. Lamine Yamal - Barcelona (Up 1)

Are we starting to underestimate the genius of Lamine Yamal? What he is doing at 18 years old is utterly extraordinary, and his dribbling skills and ability to beat defenders are unmatched by anyone in the world.
Lamine has completed 98 dribbles in LaLiga this season, according to Opta, the most of any player in Europe’s top five leagues. Keep in mind that he missed several games due to injury as well.
The Spaniard has scored in each of his last four games, and also has five goals and two assists in his last eight matches in all competitions. He keeps climbing these Power Rankings, and it would be little surprise if he ended up top by the end of the season.
2. Kylian Mbappe - Real Madrid (Up 1)

It has been a difficult few weeks for Real Madrid. Defeat in the Super Cup final, failing to reach the top eight in the Champions League after a remarkable 4-2 loss to Benfica on the final matchday, and the replacement of manager Xabi Alonso by Alvaro Arbeloa showcase that not everything is well in Madrid.
But Kylian Mbappe continues to be phenomenal in a struggling team, and his goalscoring exploits remain out of this world. The Frenchman has scored in his last eight starts, netting 12 times in the process.
Astonishingly, Mbappe has 42 goals for club and country this campaign, including 13 in the Champions League and 22 in the league.
1. Harry Kane - Bayern Munich (-)

Harry Kane just keeps doing Harry Kane things. The Bayern Munich man has 41 goals for club and country in 2025/26, including 22 in the Bundesliga and eight in the Champions League.
There isn’t too much more to say about the England captain other than he is scoring at a blistering rate, and Bayern remain Bundesliga pace setters and major Champions League contenders. Therefore, he keeps his spot at the top of these Power Rankings.
