Snell, who will start Game 1, has given up just two hits in his last two postseason starts - throwing 14 shutout innings with 19 strikeouts and just four walks.
Both Snell and Yamamoto will be coming off 10 days' worth of rest.
Yamamoto is coming off a complete game against the Milwaukee Brewers during the National League Championship Series.
He gave up just one run on three hits with seven strikeouts and a walk on 111 pitches (81 strikes).
They'll be going up against a Toronto Blue Jays team that just clinched their way to the World Series with a Game 7 win over the Seattle Mariners.
