Novak Djokovic, ranked sixth in the world, completed 900 weeks in the top 10 of the ATP singles rankings on Monday, July 21st.

The Serb is just 12 weeks away from equalling Rafael Nadal's best of 912.

The all-time record holder in men's tennis is Roger Federer, who has spent 968 weeks in the top 10.

However, it is Djokovic who holds the record for the most weeks (429) as world number one.

The current world number six went a whole decade without leaving the ATP top 10 list (from March 19th, 2007, to November 5th, 2017).

He was only out of the elite for 36 weeks from November 6th, 2017, to July 15th, 2018, due to an elbow injury.

After returning to the tour, Novak returned to the top 10 on July 16th, 2018, and hasn't left it since - that's 345 consecutive weeks.
