Gillespie, 26, is coming off the best season of his career after posting 12.7 points, 4.6 assists, and 4.1 rebounds in 28.5 minutes per game.
The former Villanova standout finally found his footing in the NBA after not getting anything done in Denver (2023-2024). He joined the Suns the following season, only averaging 5.9 points in 33 games (nine starts).
Now, Gillespie has solidified himself as an NBA guard and a vital piece for the Suns' backcourt heading into next season. He finished with 20 or more points in 10 of his 58 starts (80 games) last season, including a career-high 30 points paired with 10 assists against the Portland Trailblazers on February 3rd.
Phoenix finished with a 45-37 record this past season before being swept by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
