Biadasz, 28, was released by the Commanders on February 26th, earning him the right to sign with any team ahead of the free agency period, when already unrestricted free agents have to wait to sign their contracts.
After being selected in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys, Biadasz spent four seasons with the team before joining the Commanders.
He spent two seasons on the Commanders and finished this past season without allowing a single quarterback hit - ranking first among all centers.
Biadasz finished the 2025 season allowing three sacks (31st) on 21 pressures (30th) in 571 pass blocking snaps (18th). He posted a solid 71.2 run blocking grade, which ranked 12th-best among 40 qualified centers, making it his best year as a run blocker of his entire career.
The now seven-year center has committed only three penalties in each of the last three seasons and has not allowed a quarterback his since 2023.
He's joining a Chargers team that desperately needs interior offensive linemen after they were ranked 30th out of 32 teams last season.
