Anne de Besche, who last year decided to line up for Denmark instead of Norway, recorded a superb performance during the women's Biathlon sprint at the Winter Olympics today.
Despite a single miss in the standing shooting, she managed to finish in a shared 16th place, the best Danish result ever across the Olympics and World Cup.
At the same time, the finish secured her a place in the pursuit start at the Olympics, which was a big ambition for her.
Anne de Besche managed to beat established names like Hanna and Elvira Öberg, Julia Simon (who won gold in the individual competition), Justine Braisaz-Bouchet (Frankrig, and Dorothea Wierer from Italien.
