The 10th week (June 9th to June 15th) is over with and it was headlined by both Andrew McCutchen and Shohei Ohtani hitting historic career milestones!

As always, the highlights this week will be divided into the following categories: history, walk-offs, home runs, fielding, and pitching!

History (x6)

Long-time Pirates star Andrew McCutchen moved up to third on the all-time Pirates home run list this past week with No. 241 - surpassing the great Roberto Clemente!

Reigning National League MVP Shohei Ohtani blasted two home runs on Saturday night to hit the 250th milestone for his career!

The Atlanta Braves pitching staff set a franchise record with 19 combined strikeouts in their 4-1 win over the Colorado Rockies on Saturday!

The Contreras brothers made MLB this past week after homering in the same inning!

Boston Red Sox rookie and baseball's No. 1 prospect, Roman Anthony, recorded his first career hit this past week, driving in a pair of runs!

Speaking of milestone hits, New York Yankees outfielder Cody Bellinger recorded his 1,000th hit this past week!

Walk-Offs (x8)

No better day to hit a walk-off than on Father's Day for Houston Astros' Mauricio Dubon - his first day as a dad!

He wasn't the only player on the Astros to hit a home run - Cam Smith hit one as well!

Texas Rangers' power hitter Adolis Garcia walked it off for his team in the bottom of the 11th inning with a shot to deep centre!

Sometimes, it's not always about hitting homers - just getting the bat on the ball can change a game, and that's just what Seattle Mariners' Jorge Polanco did in the bottom of the ninth with a walk-off single!

The Arizona Diamondbacks put up fifth runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to win a thriller against the San Diego Padres! Watch the entire bottom of the inning unfold in one of the best walk-off moments of the year!

Nothing like hitting a walk-off in extra innings against your long-hated rivals like Red Sox catcher Carlos Narvaez did on Friday for the first off his career!

The Philadelphia Phillies had a walk-off win of their own this past week courtesy of Brandon Marsh!

Orlando Garcia topped off the Colorado Rockies' comeback with a walk-off of his own this past week!

Home Runs (x5)

The Father's Day strength continued as Seattle Mariners' J.P. Crawford launched a grand slam to deep right field with his daughter in attendance!

Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Nick Castellanos joined Crawford and hit a grand slam of his own on Sunday!

Whoever came up with the saying that bad things come in threes obviously didn't realize the same rule applies to grand slams in baseball on Father's Day as Gary Sanchez opened the door wide open for the Orioles with one of his own!

Very few batters were on a power streak like Cincinnati Reds star player Elly De La Cruz was this past week after hitting a home run in four straight games!

They all remember their first home run - but I'm sure Marcelo Mayer will especially remember his first career multi-home run game!

Pitching (x3)

Houston Astros pitcher Hunter Brown put up a career-best 12 strikeouts after a strong seven-inning outing this past week!

New York Mets starting pitcher David Peterson tossed his first complete game shutout, giving up just six hits while striking out six while not allowing a single walk!

Milwaukee Brewers rookie starting pitcher  Jacob Misiorowski threw a shutout in his debut this week after clocking 14 pitches over 100 mph!

Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Grant Holmes recorded 15 strikeouts on Sunday - the most of any pitcher this season!

Fielding (x8)

Athletics centrefielder Denzel Clarke made not one, but two Catch-of-the-Year grabs this past week!

San Diego Padres centerfielder Brandon Lockridge got up for this one on the wall during Sunday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks!

Chicago Cubs third baseman Matt Shaw made a clutch double-play in the 10th inning against the Phillies!

Cincinnati Reds right fielder Jake Fraley went full Superman with this diving catch!

Many don't get the chance to rob a league-leader in home runs, so Diamondbacks outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. made sure to make the most of the opportunity after robbing Cal Raleigh of his possible home run to left field!

The Kansas City Royals turned one of the whackiest double plays of the season - get the outs by any means necessary!

Dodgers centrefielder Andy Pages threw a historic frozen rope to make the play at home!
