Philadelphia Eagles guard Landon Dickerson (26) will undergo a 'minor procedure' on his right meniscus and will be out for a couple of weeks, according to reports.
Dickerson still has a chance of playing in the team's season opener against the Dallas Cowboys on September 4th.
One of the game's best linemen would leave a drastic hole in the Eagles' o-line if he isn't ready to go against Dallas. The three-time Pro Bowler has played every game of every season the past three years.
Dickerson signed a four-year extension worth $84 million before the start of last season. The new deal with $50 million guaranteed will keep him in Philly through the 2028 season.
Philly drafted Dickerson with the 37th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. The now five-year veteran posted the 13th-best overall grade (79.2) among 136 guards last season.
